With the walls up, the roof on, windows in and even the driveway paved, construction at FORWARD at the Rock continues to move quickly as we get everything buttoned-up for the winter so that interior work can continue unabated. But with rapid progress on construction, we still lack some of the funding needed to turn these buildings into homes. FORWARD at the Rock will provide lifelong homes for adults with severe autism who require around-the-clock support. We think these residents deserve many of the same amenities we all would want ourselves… a warm and cozy place to read a book, draw, or watch TV; a porch to sit and enjoy nature or peacefully visit with loved ones; a nice yard and a walking path; upgraded exterior lighting and an advanced alarm system for safety and peace of mind.
To provide those comforts, and turn these buildings into forever-homes, we ask that you go to our donation page right now and make a contribution online, or mail a check to FORWARD, PO Box 1174, South Dennis, MA 02660.
I have a neurologically impaired son who is now 50 years old and in desperate need of safe housing. He is a sociable man who has worked very hard to improve himself. Due to family circumstances , he had an extremely difficult year. How would I help him to be considered for a place of safety?

I apologize that I only just now saw your comment. The residents of FORWARD at the Rock are being selected directly by the Massachusetts Department Developmental Services (DDS), so your best course of action would be to contact them directly. Their Cape Cod contact information is: 181 North Street Hyannis, MA 02601, Phone: 508-771-2595.
FORWARD is the nonprofit developer of the project, but selection, care and support will be provided by DDS and Cape Abilities, which will manage the home and services once construction is completed.
Please let us know if you would like any additional information. Best wishes and thank you for your interest in FORWARD at the Rock.
